Wrestling???

This is a sport I have never truly understood. To me it looks like a bunch of boys rolling around on the floor grabbing at each other. Well this sport is very big here in Porterville, so at the beginning of the year Thomas came and asked us if he could sign up. We said OK, I didn't understand why he wanted to but if Tommy showed an interest we jumped. He does not show interest in much. It started out well the first practice he loved it and wanted to do it, he tried the whole time. Well that didn't last, this sport is hard work as my son discovered. What an Experience! I can't say Tommy learned many if any moves, but he had the best coach with the most patience ( he needed a lot with Tommy) and Tommy did learn a lot about discipline and getting in shape and some maturity. And even though it was hard he finish or will on Thursday and had fun (most the time)!

Just as a note after watching all season and listening to the coach instruct Tommy it still seems like a sport that is two guys rolling around on the mat grabbing at each other but it is definitely more than that I know .
